that it carries beyond letterforms and you find yourself imagining solid objects
such as coffee cups and table legs in a particular typeface."

The biggest challenge here was creating an adequate invertible P that didn't look too out of place. The result looks a lot more like a Greek phi than a P, but context holds it together, and the appearance of incongruous Greek letters almost seems thematically consistent with the subject.
